Presidential Demise...

A Saturday night at work...a night just as typical as any other...or so I thought. Working in a bar, there's always a television on even though you can't hear it. Since the bar is very loud, it's important to rely on the little bits of information that pop up on the bottom of your screen. Normally, the channels would be tuned into different sports events...hockey...basketball...even racing. That wasn't the case last night! The most important event last night must have been the Obama speech. I don't know what it was for...haven't been following it much this time around...must have just been celebrating. I did a great job at ignoring the television until something on the bottom of the screen captured my attention...provoked my rage...disgusted me completely!

Obama's solution...one of the brilliant ideas crossing his mind...are you ready for this...

He decided that what this country needs is a new Declaration of Independence...excuse my language...BUT...what the HELL! No, Mr. President-Elect...we do not need a new Declaration of Independence.

Will someone please tell me how he even expects to accomplish something like this...and why on earth would he. The Constitution...the Declaration...they are the historical backbones of our country. Just the thought that anyone - especially the president - wants to strip us of our dignity...our history...makes me sick to my stomach. First off, I think it would be nearly impossible for Obama to accomplish something of this magnitude...but, I've been proven wrong before. Maybe I'm freaking out over nothing...who knows.

I love my country...I respect my military...I cherish my rights

Personally, I think we should just stick with tradition and leave what's history alone...we shouldn't meddle in the affairs of our forefathers...what could be coming next...I don't want to know!
